In this corner
Standing for your length of years
Weighing in immeasurable consequences of reach
The once-thought champion
Now relentless challenger
Wide-eyed for any moment of sleep
And if you blink you might even catch the stench of death it brings
The challenger stands with a record of one and done
But not because it won
The challenger’s record is only true when this bout is done
In the flesh colored trunks
Representing choice, progress, and self-worth
