I think things like this look at Park Ave and autocentric designing are really cool, and while they show where we’ve come in terms of tech, it also shows some of what happens when we don’t think of the implications throughly enough (while also fostering a tech boom).
Personally, I’d love to live and work where biking and walking was the norm, leaving my car for the longer travels. That would do my body, mind, and spirit all kinds of good. And such a place might even be self-sustaining to an extent. Uhmmm, makes me think.
